Screw prince charming! My happy ending consists of a rich dark chocolate bar and divine glass of red wine.
I’m a firm believer in the benefits of dark chocolate, both physically and mentally. Sure, dark chocolate is known to be a good source of antioxidants and reduce blood pressure, but it also has the magical power to turn any frown upside-down.
Red wine is similar to dark chocolate in it’s benefits. It’s been proven that drinking one glass of red wine a day can help reduce your risk of heart disease because red wine is also filled with antioxidants!
Pair the power couple together and you’ve supposedly got yourself a one way ticket to “healthy town”. I won’t argue with science on this one…
Which is why I’ve put together the BRAND NEW ultimate, indulgent, green gift basket yet to hit the That’s Caring website: The Organic Chocolate and Wine Pairing Kit!
This new gift basket contains Theo Chocolates and Redwood Creek California sustainable red wine. I’m absolutely in love with both companies, in part, because of their red wine and dark chocolate products alone, but in the grand scheme of things, because of their efforts in being organic, fair trade, sustainable companies, like That’s Caring.
The basket pairs a fabulous 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon with five exotic and unique types of the best organic dark chocolate and instructions on how to put together a small wine and chocolate tasting of 6-10 people.
To learn more about what sustainable wine growing entails you can look at the California Sustainable Wine Growing Alliance page.

Remember, Indulgence isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity!
Stay Green.
